Connect

Connect has more subscribers under age forty than our other lists, though there is no age limit. They also tend to focus more on hearing loss topics than other general lists. This is a warm and supportive list that avoids controversy. Expect eight emails per day.

Forum

The Forum was SayWhatClub’s first list and now most active list where many days there’s a heavy volume of emails. It maintains an international flair with members currently from across the US, Canada, India, Holland, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico. The diverse interests of Forum members exemplify that people with hearing loss can enjoy busy and fulfilling lives. Topical discussions of all sorts and interests tend to outnumber hearing loss topics. But whatever topic is discussed, the members are respectful of the opinions of others. Many of our members feel a sense of family and our posts are often characterized by warmth, wit, and sensitivity.

Vistas

THE VISTAS LIST WILL ACCOMMODATE YOUR NEED FOR CAPITAL LETTERS IF YOU HAVE USHERS SYNDROME OR LOW VISION. THOUGH MOST VISTANS DO NOT HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THEIR VISION, THIS LIST DEMONSTRATES A COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION RARELY FOUND IN OTHER ONLINE COMMUNITIES. EXPECT TO RECEIVE ABOUT TWO EMAILS PER DAY.

World

World members strike a nice balance between discussion about hearing loss and a variety of other topics unrelated to hearing loss. Many of World’s subscribing members have had hearing loss from a young age. World participants offer a wealth of experience and insight about hearing loss challenges. On average, they post about six messages per day.
