I've lost track of how many years I've been the Editor of the SWC Online Voices.. The SWC Online Voices is thriving and healthy; our members enjoy having their articles and poems published. They comment to one another about the article written by a member on their list.

It's been a pleasant ride, being editor of the SWC Online Voices, enjoying the many vistas of writing about hearing loss. I've learned so much from my writers, from books to read to different technologies to new ways of dealing with our hearing losses. And I have been changed by the experience. I like to think I've become a better editor. I think I've succeeded in helping many members write good articles they could be proud of.

And I've changed enough that I know, while I've enjoyed editing the SWC Online Voices, it's time for me to go.

Isn't it true, that endings are also beginnings?

I'm gearing up for new challenges; the 2003 SWC Convention in Seattle, is taking up a lot of my time. I hope to meet many of you there, and see old friends again.

The SWC Online Voices isn't going away. In leaving the SWC Online Voices, I'm handing it over into the hands of a group of dedicated SWCers; they plan their first issue to come out in Spring of 2003.

Thank you to all of you: the SWC BOD, the writers, and most importantly, the readers.
