Candy Story (2)

First of all I have to tell you we live in a split foyer home. The stairway goes up to the first floor from the basement ... next to the living room.

Also, I have to tell you hubby, Ralph, has a stash of candies in the cupboard. Our grandchildren head right for the cupboard when they come here because they know grandpa buys candy that they like. I do not eat anything from his stash but have a great love for dark chocolate. However, I only buy myself one candy bar at a time for fear I will eat it all at once.

Now my story .... After getting my daily work done I came upstairs and went in the kitchen and proceeded to get MY dark chocolate candy bar. I broke off a piece and put the rest on the cupboard. Went in the living room and was eating my candy and reading my novel. Along comes Ralph. He goes in the kitchen. I heard him pick up MY CANDY BAR and start to unwrap it. I yelled to him .... "LEAVE MY CANDY BAR ALONE ... EAT YOUR OWN STASH!" I'm smiling here. He stuck his head around the corner and said, "Can you go back up there and get that thing reversed?" .... I'm still laughing here.

He likes to tell this story. He says, "She went from deafness to hearing everything I do in the house ... "

LOVING THIS EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE.
