He (glancing around the kitchen): Where's your cell phone? I thought I heard ringing but don't see your purse anywhere.
She (surprised): Oh, I didn't hear it. It's in the refrigerator.
He (giving her that look): What is your phone doing in the refrigerator?
She (sheepishly): It's in my purse in the refrigerator.
He (flabbergasted and then recovering): What's your purse doing in the refrigerator then? No, No, don't tell me! I don't want to know!
She (ignoring his little dramatic outburst): Well, my purse was in the car, and the chocolate in it melted. So I wanted the chocolate to cool and not mess up the purse.
He: (walking away and shaking his head in that superior manner that he knows will annoy her).
She (Thinking to herself): If only I'd heard it before he did! But at least the chocolate's okay. Mmm, doesn't taste too bad either.
