The Crocker Art Museum features the world’s foremost display of California art and is renowned for its holdings of European master drawings and international ceramics. It is the only museum in the Sacramento region accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. We'll walk six minutes south along the Riverfront Promenade from the Embassy Suites to the Crocker Art Museum at 216 O St., where we'll break into small groups for a captioned, docent-guided one-hour tour of the museum. (There is pay parking available for those who prefer to drive two minutes from the hotel.)

The Last Match is a live play about two tennis pros at the US Open that features their lives on and off the court. It captures competitive sports, rivalry and what it means to really want something. We'll carpool or take Uber/Lyft 2.2 miles (10 minutes) or public transit (30 minutes) to the B Street Theatre, 2700 Capitol Avenue. Captioning is script on screen, similar to what we had at the Boise Shakespeare Festival in 2016.

Take an underground walk back in time and learn how Sacramento lifted itself up out of the flood waters during the 1860s and 1870s. We'll depart the Embassy Suites at 10 a.m. and walk five blocks to the Sacramento History Museum at 101 I Street, where we'll tour the museum before our tour departs on foot at 11 a.m. Paid parking is available for those who prefer to drive. This half-mile guided historical walking tour lasts approximately one hour and is wheelchair accessible, but there are some areas with uneven surfaces and low ceilings. Written scripts and an ASL interpreter will be available.
