The SayWhatClub Convention

It’s like meeting long lost friends, even on the first meeting.  Last night we opened with the Welcome party. A few scenes…

Not everyone is pictured but I think everyone who went enjoyed themselves. We made a lot of new friends last night.

This morning, workshops commenced.

Frank Clayton talks about Happiness 101

Advanced Bionics, Cochlear America and Med-El talked about cochlear implants and answered questions.

And Robin Traveller from the Sanderson Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Utah, talked about assistive listening devices.

A lot of people went site seeing this afternoon but I took a nap instead. Only 3 and a half hours of sleep last night.  Visited late with people, laughing lots and then woke up early (as usual) in spite of it.  This is hard of hearing culture, this is our world.

I’m looking forward to more socializing with my friends so I’m signing off!t
